DUI and traffic defense · Houston

A DUI arrest starts two clocks. One of them runs on your license.

The criminal case moves at the court's pace. The license case moves faster: the window to ask for a hearing closes days after the arrest. Call at any hour, and Rania Haddadin will tell you which date comes first.

Cases

Six kinds of driving cases, one lawyer on every file

Rania works each case herself, from the first call to the last hearing. Pick the one that fits yours.

Offices

Three offices, each a short drive from a courthouse

Downtown Houston is the main office. Richmond and Conroe open on court days and by appointment, so you meet near the court that has your case.

Clients

What drivers said once it was over

“I called at two in the morning from a parking lot. She picked up, told me the license deadline, and the hearing request went in that day.”

Lamar T.DUI, Harris County

“She went through the video from my stop with me, minute by minute. For the first time I understood what the case was really about.”

Hien P.DUI, Fort Bend County

“My CDL is my whole income. She laid out what a conviction would cost me before I paid her anything.”

Dwayne R.Commercial driver, Montgomery County

Every case is different. What happened in these clients' cases doesn't predict what will happen in yours.

First call

What drivers ask in the first five minutes

How soon do I need to call?

As soon as you can. The window to ask for a license hearing is counted in days from the arrest, and if it passes, a suspension usually starts on its own. The criminal court date comes later.

Will I lose my license?

Not always, and not right away. It depends on the test, your record and whether a hearing is asked for in time. Rania can't promise you'll keep it, but she will tell you plainly what's likely.

Can my case be dismissed?

Some are; many aren't. She reads the report, the video and the test records before saying anything about how yours might end, and she never promises an outcome.

What will it cost?

After the first call you get a flat fee in writing, before you sign anything. Court costs, fines, and the cost of an expert or a transcript are separate.

Which office should I go to?

The one nearest the court that has your case. If you don't know which court that is, call the main number and she'll look it up.

Call before the license deadline passes

A five-minute call tells you the date that matters most. The phone is answered day and night.
